In 1900 Fred W. opened his little yellow store as Acme No.1, a cash only store. By 1904, there were six stores in the chain and a small warehouse and stable for Acme’s fleet of horse drawn wagons that delivered goods to the stores.
Acme currently operates 17 Acme Fresh Market stores in and around the Northeast Ohio area. Acme stores offer a convenient shopping experience that includes everything from food to pharmacy and everything in between.
